Hello everyone,
Recently there have been several reported incidents where members have either been upset by witnessing, or receiving, inappropriate comments or behaviour from fellow members, both on court and in the clubhouse. It should be understood by all members that the Club does not tolerate racist, sexist, homophobic or any inappropriate language, and that the reported incidents were not reflective of intentional offence. However, please be aware of the fine line between banter on and off court and comments that may cause offence and continue to treat everyone at the Club with respect.
Please take this email as a gentle reminder of our joint commitment to appropriate and respectful conduct at all times, on and off court and in our exchanges in person and online. Together we can ensure everyone enjoys their time spent at the Club and are not made to feel uncomfortable.
